Russell's "Gaucho Love" Accepted by Edition One Gallery

GAUCHO LOVE will be exhibited June 4-27, 2025 in the joint show THE DOG & PONY SHOW by the Edition ONE Gallery, 729 Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM 87501, 505-982-9668, editiononegallery.com, @editiononegallery.

I am pleased to have been invited to included GAUCHO LOVE, a long time favorite of horse people and the general public in my gallery Ward Russell Photography for over fifth-teen years. It has consistently been a best seller year after year, since it was introduced in my gallery show Photo Anthrozoology. Gaucho Love is a great example of the possible relationships between humans and animals. The pony was raised from birth by this young gaucho in Argentina. He has become the gaucho’s daily companion and working ranch horse. Also, they occasionally perform exhibits showing the riding and roping expertise of the two. The bond between horse and human is well expressed in this great photograph.
